Other Services
Complete bioinformatic reports will be delivered outlining key findings
of our analysis. A brief description of our methods used will be provided for publication.
A results section summarizing the overall analysis and findings can be supplied for an additional $500 fee.
Video consulting can be requested at $100/hour, to be billed in 15-minute increments. This can be invoiced
as a single consultation, a series of consultations, or as an additional charge at the close of a project.
The following payment terms govern bioinformatics analysis and consulting services provided by SmaLife LLC. Any project quote
or agreement with SmaLife LLC will adhere to these terms unless a signed agreement states otherwise. All prices listed are in U.S. dollars (USD).
Quotes and Payments: Following an organizational meeting, each project will be assigned a written quote
based on sample number, complexity, and scope. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
Work will begin after the client accepts the quote in writing (email is sufficient) and initial payment is received.
Quoted prices do not include applicable taxes. Where such taxes apply, they will be added to the invoice and are the responsibility of the client.
For commercial, private, or custom projects, an intial deposit of 50% is due before
work begins, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery of final report and files.
Results will not be released until full payment is received.
For academic or grant-funded projects where advance payment is impossible, a purchase order will be issued for the accepted quote and
no initial quote will be required. SmaLife will complete vendor setup (w-9 or other documents) prior to invoicing.
Invoices will be delivered alongside final report and files, with payment expected within 30 days from delivery.
Late Payments: Unpaid invoices may be subject to a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
SmaLife reserves the right to pause work on any active project until late payments are resolved. SmaLife recognizes that institutional
administrative processes may delay payments through no fault of the client and will work with clients acting in good faith to
resolve delays. SmaLife reserves the right to waive late fees at its discretion.
Cancellation: If a project is canceled by a client after work has begun, the client is responsible for payment
covering 50% of the accepted quote. For commercial projects, this will be covered by the initial deposit. If a project
is canceled by SmaLife LLC, the client will be entitled to a complete refund of all payments for said project.
